I am not certain if this club is the right one for me
Visit an informative training free of charge and see for yourself if this appeals to you. You might find this info helpful: both beginners and advanced students work according to a multi-stage programme with gradual progress. At first the emphasis on correct execution of techniques and control, thus there is no danger of strong punches. Correct execution of technique is virtually painless, as this is actually more touching that punching.
Full contact trainings only start once the light contact training has been learned. Those who wish to try out real matches are welcome, but if you don’t feel like it there is absolutely no problem. So come and see our way of training combat sports!
What equipment do I need to start?
At first a comfortable sports suit (say the lower part of a tracksuit, a T-shirt and a clean pair of sneakers) and a bottle of water will suffice. Later, with the addition of advanced techniques the array of necessary equipment expands (gloves, protective gear etc.).
I’m 30 or over and have never done any martial arts. Am I too old to join you?
You can start training at any age. The progress is up to your inner inclination and motivation and partly to other factors, but age is of no importance. Many of our members have only met with martial arts at your age. It is best to visit our trainings and see for yourself that age doesn’t mattet.
Can I join at any time?
The best time to enrol is in September and October or February in the second part of the year. We prefer new members to join us then at it is best suited to our programme. Usually the groups fill up during those periods and this makes us unable to accept new members later. But if there are any places left after this, we try hard to assign newcomers to appropriate stages of the programme.
